SENATE BILL NO. 26 "An Act relating to the Alaska Permanent                                                                     
Fund Corporation, the earnings of the Alaska permanent fund, and the                                                            
earnings reserve account; relating to the mental health trust fund;                                                             
relating to deposits into the dividend fund; relating to the calculation                                                        
of permanent fund dividends; relating to unrestricted state revenue                                                             
available for appropriation; and providing for an effective date" was

Senator MacKinnon, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent                                                                   
for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on                                                                 
page 499. Senator Gardner objected, then withdrew her objection.                                                                
There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL                                                                            
NO. 26(FIN) "An Act relating to an appropriation limit; relating to the                                                         
budget responsibilities of the governor; relating to the Alaska                                                                 
permanent fund, the earnings of the Alaska permanent fund, and the                                                              
earnings reserve account; relating to the mental health trust fund;                                                             
relating to deposits into the dividend fund; relating to the calculation                                                        
and payment of permanent fund dividends; and providing for an                                                                   
effective date" was adopted.                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
President Kelly stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 26(FIN) will                                                                      
advance to third reading on the March 15 calendar.
